Las Vegas Expo
The NAPA Auto Parts Las Vegas Expo is an event hosted by NAPA (National Automotive Parts Association) where automotive industry professionals, retailers, and suppliers gather to showcase products, exchange ideas, and explore the latest trends and innovations in the automotive aftermarket.
NAPA came to us for two fixtures: a tool display table for Carlyle Tools and a brake display table built from the same design.

Process & Approach
Phase 1: Immersion & Discovery
At kickoff, we received a brand book with colors and logo requirements as the foundation to build from. I was especially inspired by Apple accessory displays. This is the final inspiration board.

Phase 2: Concept Development
In the concept phase, I explored a variety of forms and material mixes. Some concepts focused on modularity, while others were designed to feel like full, heavy forms. Certain table faces were lifted at an angle to make the tool selection easier to view, with mats behind to further elevate the tools. A few designs also incorporated built-in screens for video to keep the display dynamic rather than static.

Phase 3: Documentation & Design Development
The client approved a concept with minimal changes, and I documented the tool table before handing it off to design development to source and coordinate with vendors for final production at the Las Vegas show.
